version 1 is $189.00 while supplies last. from what i understand, v 1.1 is all about manufacturing improvements.

seems like it might be worth it as it supports 10.5.7 on my ex58-ud4p, and all my parts are on every hackintosh hcl i could find.

i mean: this was from only three weeks ago: "probably you have the right System.kext in /S/L/E but you still have one in /Extra/Extensions (or even if its not there, it may still be compiled into the Extensions.mkext that you are using). if you move it out of /Extra/Extensions/ and rebuild Extensions.mkext, assuming you have the correct System.kext in /S/L/E, you should be fine." (from insanelymac.com.)

at this point, i even understand that nonsense, but for two hundred bucks, i wouldn't need to...

Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso (burned at 4x speed (lowest available)).



07-05:

1. Select DVD drive from boot devices in BIOS.
2. From Disk Utility on install disk, repartition the drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with GUID.
3. 'Customize' options:
Kernels > kernel_9.2_sleep
4. Install (skipping disc check)
5. System reboots (disc still in drive)
6. System stalls on grey Apple logo/progress icon



07-05:

2. From Disk Utility on install disk, repartition the drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with MBR.
3. 'Customize' options:
Kernels > kernel_9.2_sleep
4. Install (skipping disc check)
5. System reboots (disc still in drive)
6. System stalls on grey Apple logo/progress icon

7. Reboot using -v -s options at Darwin prompt
8. Safe boot seems to work.

1. Install Ubuntu.
